Case Studies

The project worked on qualitative case studies in two, in some partsperipheral and particularly forested regions: In a first step, we examined small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the Canton of Bern, Switzerland. In a second step, a comparison with Austrian Bundesland Vorarlberg, which has the reputation of being a showcase region for timber industry, was conducted.
